Margie Vella was recognized as a leader in our community at the YWCA NorthEastern NY’s 35th Annual Women of Achievement Celebration & Fundraiser on March 8, 2018.
Specifically, Margie has volunteered and fundraised for the Rotary of Delmar for more than 25 years; serves as President of The Friends of the Center and fundraises for the Albany County Family Court Children’s Center; has conducted monthly legal clinics for The Legal Project, Inc. for more than 20 years; provides pro bono legal services to refugee families; and serves on its board and supports the Food Pantries of the Capital District.
